Mjolnir Pendant by ThisDay Mjolnir Pendant by ThisDay
made this a couple of days ago. Stone is cut and polished by me. It is in the shape of the hammer of thor, or Mjolnir from Nordic myth. I dont know what the stone is.

DUDE. I never got this in my DevWATCH! WTF? I was just browsing around on DA, saw the picture and thought, "Hey, doesn't that look an awful lot like my mjolnir?" XD

And, it's awesome. Dad said that you're pretty good, too! And that's saying something! Don't worry about the mistake either -mjolnirs are meant to be homemade, flaws and all! I found a good chain for it and I wear it pretty much every day!

Again, it's friggin' awesome! *huggles*

Hehe! I rather enjoyed making it actually, that one was my first. I have some Jade ones lying around my desk that I made in the process of finding one for you but none of them I liked. I couldn't figure out how to make another wire.. chain connector bit ... XD XD

And it's always great to know that my work is appreciated and.. worn XD

thankies XD

It turned out really well! I still want to figure out what the stone is. Dad thinks it could be jadeite, maybe aventurine, but it doesn't quite look like either. It's a mystery stone! XD

But of course! I like having a mjolnir around... just inc ase any Trolls happen to be lurking about. Lots of bridges around here, you know. XD

You're welcome!

Hehe, bloody Jotuns!
I thought it was adventurine, I could be wrong.

And it is always nice having a pendant of some sort hanging around. Like a charm! it makes you feel good XD

I've got a rune tine I carved in my pocket right now :D 'cause Becky stole my pentacle XD XD

and my ring..

...I think Jotuns are the giants. XDDDDD

It could be aventurine... Eh. I'll see if I can find more pictures of it.

Exactly! And technically, a mjolnir is a charm so that makes perfect sense! :XD:

LOL! Nice. :lmao:

I think Trolls are just Trolls... I know their female counterparts (if that's the right word for them) are called Hulda, but I can't recall anything special for Trolls in general.

I got the stone and formed it at a local lapidary club, using a tool called an Arbor (or Arbour?) its really simple actually

A bit of a change from the usual pewter and silver Mjolnir pendants. Looks great, though.

i used a rock saw, and some grinding/polishing machines. Im not really sure what they are called, this is my first piece done with them, im planning on doing a Tyr rune ( or Tiw, or whatever..) when i next get a chance.
